of Beth David Congregation
The Gordon Schools of Beth David Congregation provides a growing, exciting educational environment. Our first kindergarten class opened in 1989, in response to the enthusiastic request of parents, and as a natural outgrowth of our established Early Childhood Center (ECC) that opened in 1985. An additional grade was added to our Day School each year, consistent with our commitment to complete an elementary school program. Today we have an exceptional teaching staff for our Day School students in kindergarten through grade five. Our teachers are committed to providing a warm, nurturing, and intellectually stimulating environment that fosters individual growth and creativity for our dynamic student body.
Through an integrated program of secular and Judaic studies, our curriculum combines the very highest standards of academic excellence with the rich traditions of our Jewish heritage. We teach our children to understand their community, care about it, and take responsibility for its future. Our goal is to maximize the potential of each child, taking into account individual levels of social, emotional, physical, and cognitive maturity. When you visit our Day School and ECC you find children who are happy and excited about learning and proud of their Jewish heritage.
ACCREDITATION The Gordon Schools are accredited by the Association of Independent Schools of Florida (AISF), Southern Association of Colleges and Schools/Council on Accreditation on School Improvement (SACS/CASI), the Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation (CITA), as well as the Center for the Advancement of Jewish Education (CAJE).
